Hi! My name is Drew, and this is how I became a Lykoi breder!
I grew up with feline companions and always felt a connection to their curious, comforting presence. My journey into breeding began through family. My cousin, Ryan, and his wife, Stephanie, ran Tropical Sphynx and Lykoi in Old Town, Florida—specializing in rare Lykoi and Sphynx cats. At the same time, they were growing a successful exotic plant business. As demand for their plants skyrocketed, they made the tough decision to shift their focus fully to that venture.
Not wanting the cattery to leave the family—or the tight-knit community of cat lovers Ryan and Stephanie built to fade— I stepped in to continue their legacy. I took in their young Lykoi breeding trio, rebranded the lykoi cattery, and dedicated myself to raising healthy, well-socialized kittens with the same passion and care that Ryan and Stephanie poured into it.

Welcome Meadow Thorne!
In the process of Moving to Tampa, I am now working with limited space. Thus, I made the decision to bring on Meadow Thorne as a part of our cattery! Meadow is a zookeeper and a wildlife rehabilitations expert! She is based in Live Oak, FL. As someone who plans on expanding beyond raising just house cats in the future, this felt like a natural step forward for our cattery!
Although I started with two mama cats, I decided with the smaller space, it was only right to downscale a bit to one mama. This has been a tremendous help as it has allowed me to slow down and pay closer attention to the kitties I have! Meadow has the other Emerald Coast Lykoi mama! If you're on our waitlist, I may be reaching out to you when Meadow has kittens available.
Meadow has a large presence on TikTok, and frequently does livestreams with her cats and other animals. Bonus badass points: Meadow also has a Serval that she rescued several years ago. Her story is remarkable and I'd highly recommend you follow her on TikTok @ExoticDewzires .
While we are breeding under one cattery name, Meadow is an experienced breeder and operates with full autonomy. Her vaccine schedules, nutrition, and general kitten-rearing routines may differ from my own, and she also runs her own hybrid breeding programs.
